hardcore

taken at TJ's night club in newport, south wales.
this is the guitarist from the band "walls of jericho", an american hardcore rock band.
the lighting in the club is pretty bad, so i had to compensate by using a slower flash.
the band also move very fast, as you can imagine, this had to be compensated for by using a faster shutter speed.
pictures from the club usually dont come out very good as the mixture of slow flash and fast shutter speed
do not work very well, not enough light is let into the aperture and the shots often come out very dark.
this can be overcome by only taking shots when all the lights on the stage are on (they flash).
